After seven happy years of sharing our lives with each other, the moment has finally come for us to buy our first place. We have been planning and dreaming of this for so many years, we can't believe it's actually happening. Thank you to everyone for all of your support and encouragement along the way.
The Nelson was built in 1907 as a Beau-Arts style apartment complex and was extensively renovated and converted to a condominium in 1982. Apartment 104 is a lovely studio that sits at the end of the hallway. As soon as I walked through the door during the open house, I knew I was home.
Our unit needs some updating, which is why I am creating this blog. Please visit often for the latest news on our progress. We are looking forward to the "mini renovation," since we have never been able to fully personalize rented apartments.
